When i was little, i chose my dog because she had experssive eyebrows. i know this sounds wierd but it's true. her sister was also rather mellow and not as fiesty (i think that was a bit redundant) and i wanted a dog that i could play with. So, i chose the dog named Jojo (whose name had actually been josephine but she was always getting into trouble and "no, no, jojo" sort of rolled easily off the tongue. or atleast more so than "no josephine"), whom i renamed Jodi. Because i could. i dunno.
ANYWAYS.
she jump up on the window of our back door when she wants to come inside so she can see us to make sure we're walking towards the door. yesterday, i decided to tease her because i love her that much.
so i open the door but leave the screen door shut so she just has to stare at me through the bottom pannel until i let her in. it was then that i realized her expressive brow was not wrinkled because it was cute or because she was spunky. her brow was wrinkled with worry.
it was almost as if she was worried that i would never let her in. she looked so sad. SOOO SAD. LIKE SHE WOULD NEVER SEE THE SUN EVER AGAIN IF I DID NOT LET HER IN THE HOUSE.
and that is how my dog guilt-trips me into doing stuff for her.
<sub>honsetly, i don't know what i'll do when i go off to college. i wanted to get a ferret (and i should've known this before) but my parents told me the sad truth that dorms don't allow animals, let alone pets. so, i guess i'll just have to settle for a room mate or something... -_-


in other news, i've been watchign Atop the 4th Wall, and i must say i find it pretty amusing. i understand... a good portion of it without the backstories that he provides for most of the comics. i didn't know i knew half of the stuff.
plus it's pretty cool to learn about all of the comic failures and stuff.


in other other news (wow, that last paragraph was really short)... uh... what was i gonna say... oh, right. so, I BEEN WORKIN' ON MAH TOURNAMENT. and it's oh so lonely working on this thing by myself. TT_TT
especially since i'm such a slow worker. i feel like this thing is still months in the making. i want to get the character designs finalized and make a preliminary comic as an introduction for it before i make an account for it and go find judges and stuff. i want it to look finished before it starts basically. XD
it soudns kind of silly when i put it that way.
I'll probably have a lot of tiem to work on it over the winter break but right now, the process has all but come to a standstill because i have a paper to work on and about 30 tests and quizzes to study for.
and i'm rather nervous about psychology because i don't know when (or if) he's really going to open the quizes up again because i keep missing them. i try to get to them right after we finish the lessons in class but i forget and end up checking on it a few days too late only to find that i've missed the quiz. i've missed over half of them. i hope they don't weigh on our grade too much. ):


and the way i type is really starting to get on my nerves. when i'm excited or have a lot to say, i type really sloppily (cuz i go faster) but i re-read it out of the corner of my eye and all fo the typos really bug me. ):<
but i'm too lazy to fix them and it would take me, like, an hour to write each journal if i slow down. so i wont. oh well. this section is kind of pointless....

i'm still trying to figure out this journal CSS thing. are they or are they not letting normal users use journal CSS?
i figured i would try making my own skin so i coppied a basic template and inserted my own images and replaces fonts and font colors etc just to see if i could create a basic template but when i previewed the journal nothing showed up. is there something special i need to do? i don't know. i was going to us the least ugly of the three ninja assassin skins just to see if it would work but didn't want to chance it. cuz i don't really like any of them. ):<
mayeb i just need more time to play around with this stuff or something.


next on my list of stuff to talk about is... SIGA!
SOOOOOO.
SIGA is in no way a new character but i don't think i've ever posted a picture of him. really i was very obsessed with him at one point (mainly because he came to me in a dream... litterally). he's pretty much an Alex clone IN EVERY SINGLE WAY. well, not every way, but atleast in looks and personality. but now his looks have become unique because i changed Alex's looks too to better fit the story. did i mention his hair was a plot point? i think i did. i don't know if you remember or not.
BUT ANYWAYS, i've also sort of revamped both of their stories. SIGA gets to be more three dimensional with a new purpose in life and reason be being ALL ANGSTY AND HATEFUL. and... Alex gets more details? i dunno. i had been thinking to myself that my story had really really changed alot over the past few months that i had been brooding over it but i realized all i had done was bring back elements fromt he way it used to be nearly two years ago and give it more details. and it made me happy.


also, i should've done this a while ago but i needed to apologize to for my poor absent performance for that last round of Bonds of String.
i had been meaning ot post my part but have faced numerous scanner malfunctions before actually getting the images from the paper onto my mom's laptop's hard drive and then onto my external hard drive and then onto my hard drive. first of all, my scanner is already broken due to being smitten multiple times by the wrath of god (basically it was either strikken with a virus, or the multiple power outages screwwed up the internal software permanently (which is my guess)), and second of all (don't you love my run-on sentences?) my mother's scanner is litterally falling apart. into pieces. there are springs popping out of the wazoo and it's a miracle that it even shuts anymore.
and now i think that my computer has a virus or spyware or something because everytime i run photoshop (even for editing small images) my computer almost immediately tells me i'm our of memory. so i can't edit together the scraps of round 2. ):
this makes me sad. but i'm runnign both a virus and a spywar scan right now so i hope my computer will be clean in a little bit and i can prcede with using up memory with the things that i want to use it forawkwardgrammartimeYAY. yeah...


oh, and i downloaded The Rainbow Connection adn i've been listening to it for the past 3 days (like a dork). it really makes me want to watch the movie now. O:
wen everyone comes back, we should get together and have a movie-thon, but ann is the only one not invited because she's never on DA anymore and i don't think she ever read my journals in the first place. oooooh well.
or maybe i should charge my cell phone and text everybody--but no. i am far too lazy to stoop to such a level.
